FAQ'S
Why is the LC-EAV Series positioned as “INDUSTRIAL”?
Because it is engineered as mission-critical infrastructure, not as a general-purpose computing platform. Every design decision prioritizes reliability, availability, predictability, and long-termoperation over flexibility or low initial cost.
How is this different from Raspberry Pi–based solutions?
Raspberry Pi–based solutions rely on consumer hardware, removable storage, and general-purpose operating systems. These platforms assume failure and manage around it.The LC-EAV is purpose-built to avoid failure altogether, eliminating common points ofinstability such as SD cards, OS corruption, and unattended reboot cycles.
Isn’t Linux reliable enough?
Linux is extremely capable; but it is not deterministic by default, nor is it designed forunattended life-safety operation without significant mitigation layers. The LC-EAV removes that complexity by using a locked, controlled firmware environmentspecifically engineered for this application.
Does this affect inspections or compliance?
Yes, in a positive way. A deterministic, purpose-built system reduces ambiguity duringinspections and removes concerns around undocumented software changes, storage degradation,or unsupported hardware revisions.
Why not just add watchdogs or backup scripts?
Watchdogs and scripts are indicators of a commodity design approach. The LC-EAV eliminates the need for them by addressing failure at the architectural level ratherthan reacting to it after the fact.
Features

7 inch 1024x600 capacitive touch screen
Reliably receives calls from elevators and can be received when the call agents are unvailable , ensuring reliable communcation with the elevator passanger.

3x alarm input ports and 1x alarm output port for customized deployments
Enables the app user to quickly call back elevators when a call has been disconnected, ensuring that communication is never lost.

Full duplex 2-way HD audio with advanced echo cancellation
Displays four video feeds from 32 cameras, which automatically changes every 20 seconds, making it easier to monitor elevator traffic.

Supports PoE to provide a network connection to the device
Keeps track of all incoming calls, missed calls and outgoing calls.

Secure Boot & Data, TLS and SRTP security encryption technology to protect calls and accounts
Contains the list of elevators in the station so that app user can easily locate elevators and coommunicate with them directly.

When not in use, display can be used to display static Images.
Allows user to initiate calls to elevators.

Health Status, Alarms, and device configuration can be monitored using our optional TDMS system
Gives users the option to reject call when the call comes from an empty elevator.

Physical button inputs
Offers pre-set messages for app users to easily reply to elevator calls, saving time and improving communication.
