Elevator Phone One-Line Diagram: Campus & Multi-Building Configuration

This one-line diagram (Exhibit B) shows the multiple-building configuration for a centralized elevator two-way communication system — the standard architecture for university campuses, hospital systems, public housing portfolios, transit facilities, and corporate campuses.

Each building carries its own elevator equipment — Elevator Audio-Visual-Text SIP Phone (EAV) in the cab, camera device (CD), machine room device (MRD), phone line verification (PLV), and designated landing fixture (DF) — networked through the building IT room. Every building then connects back to a single command center (CC) at the campus security building, so one security desk monitors and answers elevator calls across the entire portfolio.

Wiring keynotes cover 22-gauge twisted shielded pair hoistway wireways, 18-gauge twisted shielded pairs in the traveling cable, and Cat 6 PoE (10/100/1000 Mbps) network runs, with scope-of-work color coding for elevator contract, electrical contract, and existing equipment. Basis of design is the LiftComm on-premises EE2CS system (LC-EAV-Series, LC1300-EMR, LC1300-LOBBY) with Axis or Panasonic cameras over RTSP.
